Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS): This scholarship is aimed at talented Master's students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who have been admitted to one of the University of Amsterdam's Master's programs.

To be eligible for this scholarship, Pakistani students must:

  • Have a non-EU/EEA passport and not be eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
  • Meet the English language requirements of the University of Amsterdam.
  • Have been admitted to a Master's program at the University of Amsterdam.


Holland Scholarship: This scholarship is aimed at international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to study a Bachelor's or Master's program at a Dutch university.

 To be eligible for this scholarship, Pakistani students must:

  • Have a non-EU/EEA passport and not be eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans.
  • Meet the specific requirements of the university where they plan to study.
  • Meet the English language requirements of the university where they plan to study.
  • Have been admitted to a Bachelor's or Master's program at a Dutch university.


Required Documents:


To apply for any of the scholarships mentioned above, Pakistani students must provide the following documents:


  1. A copy of their passport.
  2. A transcript of their academic records (translated into English if necessary).
  3. A copy of their English language test results (e.g. TOEFL or IELTS).
  4. A motivation letter explaining why they are applying for the scholarship.

Deadline:

The deadline for applying for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship (AES) is January 15th, 2024, for the academic year 2024-2025.
